Rob Gibson, Service & Warranty Department Manager | West Virginia

Rob Gibson was recommended for the Employee Spotlight after he and Jim Cunnington tied for the winner of the 2023 Office Employee of the Year. Let’s get to know Rob!

What is your current role and how long have you been with the company?

I’m the Service & Warranty Department Manager. My department troubleshoots internal and external issues that arise before, during, and after a building ships. I also maintain and schedule warranty/repair work, site-built projects, offloading projects, and some onsite electrical work. I’ve worked in the Quality Control and Service & Warranty Departments for over 10 years. I was promoted to the Service & Warranty Department Manager position in September 2023. I have been with the company for 17 years and I work out of the Eleanor, WV location.

What is your typical day like?

Every day is something new. We can quickly go from investigating and processing an Emergency Order for replacement materials to planning and coordinating onsite repair work.

What is your favorite part about working here?

My coworkers! High stress situations can easily be defused with a good laugh.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Creating trusting relationships with coworkers, customers, and contractors.

Where do you focus your time and energy outside of work?

When not at work, I enjoy playing with my two boys. My family and I love to be doing anything outside. I also enjoy golfing, fishing, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack Go!

Tell us something people might find surprising to know about you.

I studied Graphic Design in school and won multiple design competitions. I still enjoy illustration, design, and hope to pass this along to my two boys.
