What is your current role and how long have you been with the company?

Structural Estimating. I compile estimates for customers and modify pricing guides to ensure we are aligned with the market value. I have been with Parkline Texas for 43 years.

What is your typical day like?

I spend my day prioritizing quotes based on due dates, completing a bill of material, ensuring quotes are completed by the due dates requested by the customer. In addition, I spend time confirming monthly material prices to ensure estimates are accurate and up to date, so our product is competitive in our industry.

What is your favorite part about working here?

It is close to home and the people are great. It’s a great place to work.

What is your favorite part of your job?

When projects I quoted are sold and completed for the buyer. That makes all the work worth it!

Where do you focus your time and energy outside of work?

Coin and duck stamp collecting are a few of my hobbies. I also enjoy traveling, gambling, and eating snow crabs and fishing with my family and friends, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. “I love dogs, especially playing with our dachshund, Cocoa.”
