Scalability for Modular Data Solutions

As data center infrastructure transitions towards virtualized networks and cloud-based environments, modular building solutions offer a streamlined, secure, and scalable approach. These prefabricated systems are designed to meet the growing demands of the industry with optimized efficiency.

Modular data centers provide a distinct advantage over traditional construction methods by enabling rapid deployment and minimizing on-site complexities. As fully integrated systems, these units are pre-engineered and pre-wired in controlled environments, ensuring quality control and consistency. Once delivered, they are immediately operational, offering a true plug-and-play experience.

Modular solutions can be designed for both Power and IT requirements:

  • Power modules typically house critical electrical components such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), battery systems, switchgear, and automatic transfer switches.
  • IT modules are configured for server racks and include essential systems like computer room air conditioners for precise environmental control.
  • Some solutions combine power and IT functions within a single modular enclosure, incorporating fully integrated systems that include fire suppression, low-voltage distribution, and HVAC to deliver comprehensive, turnkey performance.

Modular Solutions are available in four configurations:

  • Fully integrated with customer-provided equipment installed & wired in our facilities
  • Basic electrical systems provided
  • Building shell only with floor system
  • Material-only kits for assembly on site

One of the key advantages of modular data centers is scalability. Units are engineered for expansion, allowing multiple modules to be connected seamlessly, supporting future growth without disruption to existing operations.

Trachte provides innovative solutions to ensure seamless connectivity to data centers. We approach each project from a custom design and engineering perspective and remain adaptable to the rising power consumption and environmental impact of AI and cloud based systems.

Each building is engineered to meet project-specific requirements and complies with all relevant codes and standards.
